History & Mission Statement

Environmental Safety and Health Compliance, Inc. (ES&H) was founded in 1993 as an asset and data management company specializing in providing services to the petroleum industry. Company president Kati Bepko has expertise in the industry acquired through more than 17 years in the petroleum field. Holding a B.S. from Bridgeport University complemented by graduate studies at Fairfield University, she acts in an advocacy role for the industry in representing and discussing compliance programs and concerns with state regulators. In addition, she serves in the critical role as a liaison between the environmental engineers supporting ES&H's customers and the state regulators. The company was formed in response to increased frustration and lack of ability on the part of service station dealers to appropriately deal with and comply with increased regulatory requirements for reporting. A privately held company, ES&H has grown its operations to successfully monitoring more than 7,000 tanks nationwide over the past six years. The company principal and key staff members possess more than 80 years of combined expertise in the petroleum and compliance industries and have worked with scores of companies in successfully designing and implementing effective compliance reporting and monitoring systems.
